how public opinion against the policies of your country formed?

in some countries people resort to violence and torch buses, trains and close down all institutions and disrupt public life to express their anger against government's policies. the members of parliament instead of discussing the problems disrupt parliament proceedings and waste tax payer's money.trade unions resort to strikes and the managements lock out their industries instead solving the problems amicably. i want to know in your country, especially, the usa how people's public opinion is formed against their government's policies and how trade unions respond when their demands are not met with by the management?in our country some intellectuals form public opinion by writing letters to the editors of magazines.

In America, people force public opinion by raising money from grassroots efforts and using that to sway politicians to vote for the minority to rule. In America, it's all about money. People use the media to form public opinion and most Americans are ignorant - believing that the news and media are unbiased methods to convey information when they are totally liberally biased. It's all about money. Money buys power and that power feeds the media machine that spits out whatever the rich want to promote regardless of how popular their views really are. They try to force it on the rest of the nation this way to win the majority. For instance, there is a minority of people in this nation who really believe that God needs to be removed from every realm of society outside of the church and they are trying to "secularize" America. They feed the media machine. They have successfully forced their views by removing prayer from schools, the 10 commandments from the public sector and removing any mention of God from our history textboooks completely overlooking some of the most important statements our founding fathers have said. Now we have 2-3 generations of students who have no idea that the founding fathers believed anything different than what our media machine spits out for them to learn. It's a very sad and distorted system. Instead we are promoting sex by distributing condoms so instead of thinking about God - young people are forced to think about concerns that require wisdom far beyond what the public education can offer in a secular sense - morals without a balance, values void of a standard, yet offering them the freedom to think and behave like animals - after all - they are teaching them that evolution is a proven fact and that no one but an idiot would think otherwise. We're just higher level animals - see where this is leading - it's called mass chaos. So it's through the media machine, money and influencing the public's view using these things. Very corrupt.

Americans have been trained to only be "working bees". We are forced to only have two weeks vacation which we mostly sell back, just to keep trying to have the "American Dream" ( a house, a car, a life). Our government does not answer to us, or serve the interests of individual citizens. We are no more knowledgeable about the inner proceedings than people in any other country. We get our opinions the same way you do.
