There's lots of things you could do to surprise him. Make up a t-shirt with "baby on board" and an arrow pointing down. Make a special supper, put on a shirt over the t-shirt, then, after supper, "flash" him your shirt! Or buy a baby layette set, wrap it, and leave it by the remote control. Then, let nature take it's course! What I did was I took a picture of the pregnancy test, then placed the picture where he would see it. I still have the pic! Use your imagination and your knowledge of what would surprise him the most. Put your pregnancy test in his shirt or coat pocket before he leaves for work. Sometime during the day, he'll find it! If not, when he comes home, tell him there's a surprise in his pocket. Have fun! <*)))><

Have a nice dinner consisting of baby carrots, baby back ribs, and baby potatoes. Don't say anything, just have a nice meal together, talk about your day. If he figures it out through dinner...great! if not, follow up with something along the lines of...A nice game of charades! Both take a couple of turns making stuff up, or if you would rather, you go first to un veil the big surprise... Draw this- first draw...'a chunk of swiss cheese' (for she's)- second, draw...' 1/2 '( for have)...third draw a bottle of ink...(go a head and label it 'ink' otherwise it's a hard one to guess, for ing sound) fourth draw.....a baby!
When you run the words together, you get...
Cheese half ink (shes having) a baby!
I think this is a fun sweet way to bring such wonderful news of a beautiful baby to the love of your life!
Good Luck!

I found out that I was pregnant and put the pregnancy stick in a box and wrapped it up and told him I got him a little something and that if he didn't like it I would return it. That completely threw him off and thank god he didn't want to return it. It was a really good memory. Good luck finding the way to give your surprise.

Just for the fun of it, go to a thrift store and buy a high chair. Get a teddy bear and a baby bottle. Set up the table while cooking dinner, put the high chair and bottle at one place and yours and your husbands at the other two. When he comes home for dinner and sees those sitting at the table just think of what his reaction would be.

do something really romantic--like make a dinner involving baby potatoes--baby carrots and something else related to baby stuff. after dinner give him a gift bag and inside put a bib or a pair of "booties" and he will get the hint!!!! he will be surpirsed.
thats one thing I regret not doing!! making it a surprise!! good luck

You could put some baby booties on his pillow for him to find.
Or go buy a t-shirt that says something like "baby on board" and be wearing it when he gets home from work.
Have fun while working on that little project! *S*

This is what I done. I bought a packet of disposable nappies and asked my hubby to put them in the nursery. I will never forget his expression and that was 22 years ago.
