I feel that our president is using fear to control the people in this country. I also feel that our president is making war to make millions off of the weapon and oil companies his family owns. I feel that he is killing very many innocent people including our troops. I feel that he is putting way too much money into this war than he is to help better our country. Is he really keeping us safe?

I agree with you completely. And I think we are increasingly more in danger since this debacle that is the Iraq War began.

Corrupt? That is a very ambiguous term. Clinton made a fortune for himself as President, as a sell-out. Pardoning Billionaires, going on Oprah, writing a book, etc... He knew about terrorist cells, threats, etc... and did nothing about them because he wanted to be popular. The deficit was at an all time low, hooray.

W had no choice but to fight back after 9/11. None, even the Democrats wanted action, how soon they forget.

If we do not spend tons of money protecting ourselves there is a 9/11 waiting to happen every month. Absolutely. I think certain officials, some I respect, have disagreed vehemently with W because they felt he misrepresented information. I cannot argue that point. But, they all agree that the War on Terror was inevitable, just might disagree on his tactics. That will always be up for debate.

I feel that our president is trying to unite the country. Do a google search for Loose Change part 2, under the videos, and you will see what I'm talking about.

I feel that what we really need is a "dreamer" or an "idealist" for a president.

Someone willing to say "You have the RIGHT to burn a flag... does that mean I want you to do it... NO!!?!?!... but you still have that right, and I'm here to defend that right."

I feel that what we are fighting for is right... but how we are fighting for it isn't. If we hadn't have gone over there, then in the next few years another hitler may have rose to power. So we nipped it in the bud... but is that what we are saying we are fighting for?? NO... we are told we are fighting against terrorism... but if that's the case, then once we are done over there we need to attack the United States of America... because thanks to George W. Bush we are now terrorists as well.

the question that you asked : "is he really keeping us safe?" well my answer is NO, why?? because even with these wars that he is doing, bad things and bombing are still occuring not just in the United states now, but some parts in Europe, and the country is spending Billions and Billions of Dollars on wars, when he can build houses for the homeless or for the people in need, Plus he could have rebuilt New Orleans, which till now not every area is built again....so honey, i dont live in the US, but i watch the news...

Yes. Just as corrupt. I agree with your sentiments completely. He and his bunch have no repect for the democratic process or the American people (or any other people for that matter, except for the one's that have lots of dough). They claim to love America but hate American's. They are a bunch of currupt, amoral, sociopaths that have attained the most powerful seat/s in the world and will do ANYTHING, say anything to keep that power, even if it is to cheat, lie, steal or murder.
I am very worried about the America that my children will inherit.

The truth sucks doesn't it. The problem is most Americans will never look in the mirror and see themselves and the country as anything less then perfect!

You are correct and no, we DO NOT have to stand behind him!
That is rediculous in the very least! Speak out. Call your Congress men and women. It doesn't help as much as it should but it does help some!

You are entitled to your opinion, and should be grateful to live in the USA...where we are allowed to speak out/up regarding matters of/about our country.

We should all be extremely grateful for all those who/have serve/served in our Armed Forces.

The brave men and women who "volunteer" to serve our country,( in the military) know that they maybe called to "war."
While war is ugly and evil, it is sometimes a necessary evil.

I do not live in "fear."
The number one reason to pay taxes..is to.....
"provide for the common defense."

I don't know that I would call him corrupt. I think he truly believes what he is doing is justified. Unfortunately, he is very, very wrong.
