A mechanics lien is a judgement for money against someone involving their automobile. To get a judgement, you have to go to small claims court (assuming you are under the limit in your state) and provide proof that you deserve the judgment. I am not aware of any shortcuts to this.

if you don't have a tax id and business you can't.
