Im a bargain shop-a-holic!
We have these stores here in Texas that have 95 percent off of stuff. Its bad because I have gotten so spoiled on paying 20 cents for a shirt or a buck for pants that I complain about paying anything else! Its horrible!

I first do my research - what's in style, what is most figure flattering.
Then I go to high-end stores and try stuff on. If I can get something that will last me for a long time and looks fabulous and is a wardrobe staple, I don't mind spending some money, but I will try to get the best deal, preferably on sale or with a coupon - it pays to have the charge card - they usually send discount coupons.
Then, when I know what looks good and what size, I go to discount stores, like Ross or Marshalls and look for similar stuff. You can usually get the same stuff fit a fraction of a price.
There is also internet shopping and Nordstrom Rack - all discounted, all great.
I find that my best pieces are the ones I paid for the least and they are the ones I wear the most. I cannot bring myself to pay the retail full prices - I find them ridiculous.
So keep your head up high and your hand on your wallet - there is no shame in smart, frugal shopping - it will leave you with money to go out and show off your great wardrobe.

I see nothing wrong with that! I work hard for my money and I don't like to waste it on overpriced "fashionable" clothing that goes out of style two minutes from now. I buy classic looks that look and wear well -- at reduced prices. I shop sales, resale shops (thrift stores! LOL!!), bargain shops, end of season, whatever. I just make sure I've developed my style sense so my outfits coordinate well. And they must -- I *do* get a lot of compliments. You should see their jaws drop when I let them in on the "secret price" I paid for some of this stuff -- it's too funny. So -- be cheap and be proud -- and just be stylin'!!

I am the same way. Guilty, guilty, guilty! Oh well, it's better than blowing all your money away and getting in debt up to your eyeballs! I shop in the sale racks. If I see something, I just ask my self if it's worth it. Don't mindlessly spend. I shop at Target and Walmart. They have very fashionable, cheap, stuff! But if you WANT to spend more, that's something else.

i'm with ya on that one. I usually shop high end designers and more expensive stores, but during the sale seasons. I haven't been too lucky to find anything for $15 bucks though!
