I'm wanting to do a computer system backup and wondering what CDs numbers or letters to use?

This question needs to be defined more, what number or letter are you talking about? Without knowing what your computer has as far as hardware, a CD-RW or DVD-RW/R drive, etc, there is no way to tell you an answer to this question.

the basic answer is drag the folders over to the CD icon and burn them. i prefer an external hard drive and use "briefcase" then that tells me automatically if folders need updated. not sure if you can use that method on a CD. i don't like Cd's the are to fragile.
