I would like to have them in my upper lip area, you know from 'smokers' lines.

Restylane has safely been used worldwide by dermatologists and plastic surgeons since 1996. Because Restylane is non-animal-based and fully biocompatible, allergy testing is not required. This quality virtually eliminates any risk of animal-based disease or allergic reaction. The most commonly reported side effects were temporary redness and swelling at the injection site. These effects typically resolve within two to three days.
Restylane is FDA approved for use in the United States. It is only currently indicated for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

Restylane lasts about twice as long as bovine collagen, so treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Evidence shows that having a touch-up treatment before the product has fully dissipated will enhance the lasting effect.

My friend had the injections and she swore by it. She loved it!!!

At our locations in Long Beach and Orange County, Restylane® is used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane® can also add fullness and definition to lips, providing natural-looking and lasting results with just one treatment.

How Does Restylane® Work?

Restylane® works immediately by adding volume to smooth away wrinkles. A clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid, Restylane® is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid. So, you can use Restylane® to visibly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, and to add fullness to your lips. Contact us to learn more about injectables.

Biocompatible. Natural.

Biocompatible with the human body, Restylane® is eventually broken down naturally. The Restylane® family can be used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds or laugh lines).

The Restylane® family can also be used in other moderate to severe facial wrinkles such as lipstick lines—the area just below the nose and above the upper lip; the corners of the mouth; and marionette lines—the area that extends downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline.

Restylane® is the only FDA-approved dermal filler for lip enhancement in patients over 21 years, and is uniquely formulated to give your lips fullness and definition. It may also be combined with one of our other medpsa treatments, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, for a younger, refreshed look.
