Is frequency observation of light paricle masses similar to observing cars on a road moving at same speed?

Where the distance between car is the same wave lenght and a policemean is oberving the number of car passing by each seconds?
CArs are both large mass particle and dispalys a dual nature of both being a particle and a wave,is that TRUE?

Just like sound needs air (or other matter) to pass through you created a "wave" of cars that require cars to pass through. I don't know if the answer to your question is yes or no.
