Well, I live in a very small town (Boulder Creek, California) and I have AT&T for DSL. They have some sort of contract with Yahoo! and everything fits together very nicely. I don't know if they are literally everywhere, but the old AT&T was, before it was broken up. Perhaps they have reconstituted enough to be available where you are.

It seems that AOL is there, it will give you DSL no matter where you are. Yahoo! is working on giving you DSL anywhere. And Verizon is almost there, its adding new areas every day.
Personally i would recommend Verizon, best price and best realiability.
