I know that they look very similar. I also know that Nascar has more races per season. How do the cars compare?

If you were a driver and had an opportunity to drive in Nascar or ARCA which would you choose and why? (forget about the prize money or exposure differences)

ARCA is the automobile race club of america .The ARCA cars are old cup cars.As for being a minor league that is a matter of your point of view.I would rather watch the ARCA races because there are not those over inflated egos you find in the other garage.
ARCA runs most of the same tracks that NASCAR runs, but ARCA runs the true racing, dirt! The web site ARCARACING.com is a pretty good site.

Sorry, the answer before me is wrong.

ARCA is not NASCAR. It isn't a NASCAR sanctioned series. Yes they buy old Cup cars to use in ARCA.

The rules are the same for both series(or at least they were the same over the past couple of years, not sure about this season) but it is not the same series.

A few years ago, Scott Wimmer, failed to qualify for an ARCA race at Atlanta and used the same exact car to qualify for the Cup race the next day.....he even lead a few laps that race too!

ARCA is considered by some to be the 'minor leagues' compared to Nextel Cup. ARCA is a good place for young racers to get experience at pit stops. Alot of ARCA teams buy old Cup cars and alter them to ARCA specs.
