No, BMW is much safer than any Japanese car because it is much heavier and has a better built srtuctural integrity.

It is hard to say because the rav4 is really safe, and bigger than the bmw 1 but German automakers can make even the small cars safer than some bigger cars but I would say the BMW 1

The new Ravs are very safe and rate at the top. Of course those ratings are government based and not really worth much. A good handling small SUV with side and front airbags with good site lines is going to be safer than a low slung passenger car . If you hit a bridge, you will get hurt in either one.

No consumer reports rates RAV4 not very good. BMW had a much better safety reputation.

A BMW is a rear-wheel drive. A Toyota is a front wheel drive. BMW are stronger mechanically and they have a better reputation in terms of product quality.

offcoarse bmw is safer than any other japanese cars.cause
1. its heaver
2. its more stable structurally.even in the snow.
3. it breakes very faster than any other japanese car.
4. its safer in the accedints because of the thick plate of the body.
