With moderate wear - couple of years.
When you wear gold plated jewelry, it begins to look dingy because of wear and use. If it touches your skin, your body chemistry has a tendency to absorb some of that coating on the gold and it gets dingy quickly.
when you take it off, put it in a protective jewelry box, or velvet lined jewelry bag. don't just leave it on a counter, or dresser because it will lose some luster and shine.

Not very. It tends to wear quickly. Once the gold is worn off I get an allergic reaction- hope that won't happen to you. I'd go real gold if possible.
Have a great day!

It should last a very long time if you take good care of it. Do not have it cleaned they actually take gold off to make it look cleaner.

as long as you take care of it, not wear it in the shower, etc., it should last a while. Course, it won't last long if you wear it everyday, but you can get it replated at the jewelry store if you really really like it.

Shes really upset with me again,
I didnt give her what she likes.
I dont know what to tell her,
Dont know what to say.
Everything got funky last night.
She was really bombed,
And I was really blown away,
Until I asked her what she wanted,
And this is what she had to say:
A pearl necklace.
She wanna pearl necklace.
She wanna pearl necklace.

If it is a fine one, forever.
If it is so-and-so one, a year.
