k so my dad (who has been cheating on my step mom for 2yrs now, and has just found out that she knows but hasn't confronted her about it yet) lost his cell phone so he asked to borrow my step-mom's, and one of her guy friends (who is married and has a family and absolutly nothing is going on with, but likes to joke around) sent my step-mom a text that said "I can't wait to tast you, it's been driving me crazy all day" so my dad tried to call this guy who then didn't answer his phone, then he saw that he missed a call and called back, and my dad answered the phone and the guy said, "oh sorry I must have the wrong #" so my dad said " no you don't this is *insert name here* but the guy hung up. so then my dad called my step mom, and accused her of cheating, and she explained to him that she wasn't and that she had introduced him to the guy before, and if she was cheating she wouldn't have given him her cell phone, and then he said "well this conversation is going no where, I will call

back after you've had time to think about what to say"

you see my step mom really dosen't want to break up with him especially rite now, because we just moved into a new house and just got settled, we have so many plans, that we will never be able to do if they split, and she knows it will be hard on the 4 kids if they split, what should she do.

she would ask herself, but she dosen't have a yahoo screen name that no one knows, and no one knows or would ever guess who this is, this is a pretty new name, so no one knows it yet, but what should she do? What would you do?

dude your dad got balls to confront her for cheating even tho he is himself....i dont know what she should do but the thing is you guys have plans...i tihnk she should remove herself emotionally from your dad cause i know he's your dad but what he's doing is wrong and not right man....you, the kids, need to stick by her side, help her with the plans, and once you guys are done with your plans, tell him to leave! cause obviously he doesnt want to be with her

I think your step mom needs to think about her children before any "plans" that she has. Your dad has alot of nerve trying to turn the tables on her knowing full well that he is out there cheating on her. Later for the "plans". Tell her to get out of that dead end situation and become a strong independent woman for herself and her children.

People don't send people text messages like "I can't wait to tast you, it's been driving me crazy all day" unless they are diddling them.

Sounds like both parties have duel lives, and further, at least one of the parties (step mom) knows and doesn't care because there are obviously other benefits to the arrangement.

Step mom just needs to confront dad about his exploits. Tell him that she doesn't care about the other hoes and that she's gonna have her fun too.

I don't see how you can be so sure she isn't cheating....unless that text message was meant for you....?

It's not right for you dad to be cheating on his wife but I can understand why he would freak out on your mom. She obviously has let this guy think it's okay to leave inappropriate messages on her phone, so there may be something going on. Anyway, it sounds like both of them need to figure out what they need to do. It doesn't sound like a very healthy situation, and if they want to keep with it they should consider counseling.

If I were her and I am sure I am not cheating,I will confront him with what I know about his affairs and let him know that I do know what is going on and even if I cheat(which I am not), I dont think I am the only one doing something wrong so we have to arrive at a compromise.

The best advice I can give you is to stay out of your parents personal business. Why are they including you in all this BS. You are a kid and shouldn't have to worry about all this adult stuff. Go have fun with life and let them worry about the problems.
