i am looking for a vacation spot to go on with my family. we never really get any time away and i want to go some where to make some memories.

Depending on where you live now, but Maine is a wonderful and beautiful state to vacation. Fall time is the best time as all the leaves on the trees change color and it truly is beautiful. There are many things to do in Maine like cayaking, hiking, swimming, boating, camping, sight seeing, I can go on but check out the web site for the state of Maine.

Go to Alaska. Not on a cruise. Fly to Anchorage and drive to Homer and visit the spit. Your mouth will drop at the scenic beauty and the eagles. Then drive back and take the Alaska RR up through Denali. Be sure to take the bus ride back to Wonder Lake. The wildlife will knock your socks off. Continue on the RR on up to Fairbanks. Visit Chena Hot Springs and drive on up to the Arctic Circle on the Haul Road. You will never forget your memories from Alaska.
If you need someone to entertain you then forget about Alaska and go to Orlando. Take lots of money and you will need a vacation after you get home.

Southern California. Disneyland & California Adventure, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo & Wildlife Park, and the list goes on. Stay in Irvine near the Spectrum shopping area; it's a good base to go to lots of other places.

The FL Keys are beautiful! Key West has a lot of sight-seeing, and a Disney Cruise ship that docks up down there...just a suggestion...

anywhere ... people can tell you good experiences, as people can tell bad experiences in the same place or city. you can go vacationing to the next town and you can have such a good time ... it depends what you like or in what you are interested in. i like exotic countries, like Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt, as well as I like to drink good wine, which I can go to France or Spain. you rethink what you like then choose, you'll see that you will have the best vacation ever.

Come to the Pacific Northwest. We have beaches, mountains, lakes, rivers and parks. Not too crowded and it won't rain till about October.
