here are the answers they give you a= 2.646 b=10.247 c=10817 d=11.705

a^2 + 4^2 = 11^2

a^2 + 16 = 121

a^2 = 105

a = square root 105

Choice b looks correct

dude, this isn't enough data to go on...is "b" the base? Is "a" the side opposite the acute angle? And which side is "c"? How would I know? Maybe it's the hypoteneuse. Your answer is different depending on what a, b and c are. Good lord! Give us something to work with...

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Plug in b and c, solve for a. Do your own homework.
