for that evening then you dont hear from them for 2 days. When they finally call you say "Hey, what happened to you the other day ?" and they say "Oh I fell asleep." Would you be mad ? How would you react ? Would it be no big deal to you ? Is this common in your group of friends ? Am I just too sensitive ?

Hi, good question! Yes I would be mad, because people nowadays are so inconsiderate they care nothing about others only theirselves. I would be very upset especially two days later you finally here from this "friend". Now, we know things come up but if you have been friends for a while and you care about each other then there is no excuse. Today there is so many communicatons devices so your friend could have text you, e-mail you or something! Thats one thing I am not going to tolerate is inconsiderate people! I am sorry that happen to you, I know numerous ocassions I got left waiting for someone and they never showed or called! hopefully oneday I will find a friend who will be as considerate as myself!

P.S. No you are not too sensitive....You are just a caring person who doesn't deserve to be treated like a puppy!

I would be a little annoyed, but only if the person was a repeat offender.Sometimes things happen, so I can be relatively forgiving..but if they always say they "fell asleep" or make up other excuses, hell yeah I would be mad!

Most of my friends do that once in a while, it used to bother me a lot more than it does now...and I have just come to the realization that things come up that cannot be prevented, so I give them the benefit of the doubt..

I don't think you are necessarily being too sensitive about this...it is understandable to feel that way especially when you have plans and end up waiting around all day.

It would depend on if this was the first time they had done this to me. I would be hurt, and I would let them know how I feel. This behaviour is NOT common in my group of friends, because we wouldn't allow it to continue. Don't be too sensitive about it if this is the first time, honest mistakes happen. Also, think about this...how come you didn't call them when they didn't show up? If this is a regular thing from this friend, you may want to analyze why they are your friend. If it's a first time, ask them to be more considerate next time.

I would be upset, since I could have made other plans with other friends and/or not turned down other friends to hang out. If this friends tends to keep on blowing you off I would tend to not make definitive plans with them and use them as a backup if you had no other plans that night.

I would be upset at that friend for not keeping plans with me. I would probably be careful next time you guys make plans and not take the plans so seriously. Kind of think next time we MIGHT hang out not that you are definatly going to. I have friends like that but I have just learned that with those types of people you just have to live with it...and make the most of your time.

Well this depends on the situation, if they failed to turn up when you wait to meet them i would ask where they got to but i would not be angry with them anger solves nothing

no it happens...sucks that they didn't call you though...I would have tried to get in contact with them though...what if something serious would have happened? I'd let it go...it takes too much energy to stay angry with someone...
