Why do my friends find me odd when i say that my grandparents were good looking?

i was looking at old photos after my one grandfather passed and i said what a good looking guy he was and they totally freaked out.....

i'm 19 and they are around the same age as me a year younger or a year or two older

Odds are your friends interpreted your comment of "wow, he was attractive!" into "wow, I want to have sex with him!" I'm guessing you and your friends are probably in your teens, where EVERYTHING is about sex - especially for guys. It's all perfectly normal, and a part of growing up. Just take their comments with a grain of salt. After all, YOU know what you meant when you said it, even if they don't.

Because they don't understand you can find someone good looking without being sexually attracted to them. You have the ability to look past those things and appreciate a fact- you come from good genes! Their just jealous they don't

I don't know mine were in their younger days.My grandmother could of been a model and my grandpa had a photo album full of girls that he dated before my grandma.
He was a lacrosse star in Canada in the 40's.
