while there are plenty of 'old wives tales' about what sex the baby might be - they are not true or I would have had a girl. If you really want to know - get an ultrasound and ask the Dr to tell you. This may or may not be the true sex - the only for sure way is to have the baby!

Good Luck and Congratulations!

no, they are all just old wives tales. My oldest was carried really high, 10 lb little boy. And my youngest was really low, so I thought I carried the oldest really high and it was a boy, this one is low it must be a girl. I went out and bought all kinds of pink frilly things for my little savannah when she would be born, and my youngest son was born. I cried! The whole pregnancy I was sure because of these old wives tales that he would be a girl. the only way you know for sure is if the ultrasound specialist says they see a uterus, or testes, or if you have an amniocentesis.

No, not really. By funny coincedence, by mom and her friend did ring test on me, my sister, and the friend's daughter when we were all pregnant at the same time. Swung back and forth on my sister, whatever that means, I think it was wrong. But on me and the other woman it kept switching from back and forth to around in circles. We found out we were both pregnant with twins about 1 month later. No way to tell for absolute sure until the baby comes out and you count the appendages. One of the most accurate and safest of the tests, though not 100%, is the ultrasound.

I wish there were but there's not. All pregnancies are different. There just is no way to tell until you have an ultrasound. Although, I am sure there are many old wives tales you could go by.

Ultrasound, chorionic villi sampling, and amniocentesis are the only reliable way to predict the sex of a baby accurately. How you carry and the heart rate has nothing to do with baby's sex. I had four, and carried all of them low. I had two boys and two girls.

not really, i was pregnant with my best friend 8 years ago, and everyone said, "oh your carrying low and anna is carrying high, that means your having a boy and shes having a girl." Not so she had the boy i had the girl. All of that is just old wives tales

they say it depends on how high or low you carry them...i believe that is an old wives tale,i think the best way to find out is through ultrasound around 20 weeks or so.

Ultrasound is the safest most reliable but even with that my doctor was wrong with my triplets, and we just had to wait and find out when they were born.
