I'm doing research for a television show. And we're looking to compile a list of mistakes pageant contestants make? Are there any common mistakes that are made that can be avoided? Are there rules that a contestant should follow?
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

how about, "DONT BE A TOOL by entering a friggin pagaent"...how about teaching our children that there is more to being a well rounded adult than wearing pretty clothes and delivering fake smiles on cue?

Not eating on the day of the pageant is a common mistake. Pageant directors generally instruct the girls to eat, so they won't be faint, but they're nervous, excited and in some cases worried about fitting into their suits & gowns, so they skip eating, anyway.

So im in pageants and i notice that girls dress really slty and that isn a good thing!

Well there are a few but i believe that one of them are watching others out stage others, jealousy, giving others pressure, and embarrassing others.
