This is not really a physics question. But I would like to travel to the year 5,000,000,000 (that's 5 billion years from now), because I would like to see what happens to the Earth, the Sun, our Universe, and the human race (if still exists).

Instead of getting all philosophical about traveling through time to change past events, I believe I'd travel back to Woodstock to observe the mistakes that were made so that a future version of Woodstock would not have the problems connected with the last one. Perhaps offering legal mood altering substances for sale, for instance, might do away with the "bad acid" problem they had. Having more toilet and medical facilities would also be a nice addition. They should have had food vendors and pleas for people to share with others since many of them stepped out on faith and hitchhiked there without food or water. There were obviously problems with the electrical systems, so they should have back-up generators and maybe a battery back-up system. Filters on the electricity would be nice too. I wonder what other mistakes might be fixed by better preparation? I'd have to observe and see.

Ovbiously "travel" means to go and return. I'm very modest, only to the next year to know the christmas lottery number.

2007. I'd love to know what it was like seeing as you only lived on one planet, and nobody had teleporters or time machines.
