I think I'm doing one of my favorite things. I was just thinking earlier that if I won the lottery I'd spend all day every day doing two things: reading and hanging around Answers. When I told my cat this, she cried a little. It's not the first time she's felt sorry for me.

right now I'm goofing off answering this question and getting mauled by hungry cats. I don't mind the goofing part,it's great, but the cats are getting annoying.

In general I enjoy my work.I get the right balance of creative and monetary incentives. I'd rather be doing it somewhere else though as I am sick of Quebec and miss New Brunswick.
When I was a kid I knew that I wanted to work in a store. It's an odd dream, I know.

Oddly enough, I've been thinking about that. Yahoo Answers is addictive. I do it to help other people but I should be working on my novel. Funny how we need to be needed and that writing itself can be so solitary and unrewarding at the beginning, yet reap accolades, perhaps, later. Those undisciplined of us find ourselves quick-fixing our need to be needed through answering questions. So, I would like to be working on my novel---and you've helped me get back to work. Thanks.
