yes they were siamese twins separated at birth, peter got the looks vern the sense of humour :)

Yes, I think they must have been part of a bizarre genetic experiment (like the film 'twins' with danny devito and terminator).
All the chromosomes concerned which looks gathered together in one 'twin' and 'sense of humour' was mutated in the other one.
Just another sad case of what happens when science goes wrong.
