My period was supposed to start 8/1 and it still has not started. I took as test on the 4th, 7th and this morning and they were all negative. Is there still a possibility that I could be pregnant since it is 2 weeks late? I had a misscarriage in May. I called the doctors office and they just said to take a test every week until my period begins.

if ur period is two weeks late it would mean that if u r pregnant - u would be about 3 - 4 weeks along. but since u took the test and they negative. it can be a number of things
u took the test wrong.
u need to take a blood test instead because hormones has not shown in urine.
or u may have some other prob.
either way check a gynochologist doc as soon a possible. cause ur doc prob does not seem to think u important enough to bother with.

The doctors office sounds a little crazy.
I would make an appt to see the doctor within the next 2wks.
If you get your period, you can always cancel the appt.
If not, then you can get a blood test & an ultrasound to see if you're pregnant. I think you would have a positive test a few days after you miss your period though.

Don't bother with OTC pregnancy tests they are a waste of money!!!! Get a blood test from your doctor. I had a regular period 6 months into my 1st pregnancy and I took numerous OTC pregnancy tests and they were all negative. But I knew I was pregnant.

Due to some women producing lower levels of HCG at the beginning of a pregnancy, I wouldn't waste anymore money on HPT's. Go to the doctor-a blood test is definitive and you will have your answer. Good luck!

There is a chance- but not very good. The tests have become very reliable. Do call your doc. if you have any pain, fever or the like- An ectopic pregnancy is a chance and would require immediate medical assistance. Good luck!

If you go and get an early response it will probably show wether or not you are pregnant. I missed my period one to two days and it came back positive.. If you aren't don't get discourage. Keep trying. When God decides to allow you to concieve it will be a remarkable time and memory for you..
