They raise the roof for civil casualties in Lebanon ( in all wars, infortunately, there are civil casualties) but ignore completely the real genocide the arabs are carrying out in Darfur.

I confess to being completely baffled as to why both sides of the American political spectrum insist on tying support for Israel to one side or the other. Simply put, it's an international relations matter not related to the tenets of either liberalism or conservatism.

Personally, I'm proud to be both a Jew and a liberal. I'm about as much of a Democrat as you can get, but that doesn't stand in the way of my support for Israel.

This doesn't seem to be an uncommon phenomenon, either - there are more Jewish Democrats than Jewish Republicans, and the recent resolutions to support Israel passed both the House and Senate nearly unanimously among both parties.

Darfur, by the way, has been a humanitarian crisis recognized for a long time by people of all political stripes. The tragedy there has nothing to do with the nationality of the agressors.

And notice how they got all bent out of shape over Mel Gibson making racial slurs against Jews...and yet they ignore that Hezbollah says even worse things about Jews and Israel...and ACTS upon those sentiments! Go figure. They are indeed hypocrites.
