Forgiveness:

1) She needs to examine her conscience. She needs to think about how her actions hurt HER and you. It is up to her to feel genuine sorrow for her actions.

2) She needs to tell you out loud how her behavior has hurt HER and you. She needs to ask you for your forgiveness and promise not to repeat the actions that hurt you.

3) Should you feel a genuine sorrow from her and her commitment not to repeat this action, you can ask her to repent by giving her a punishment, or a action that will repair the relationship. I guess asking her to never travel without you would be a step ... or asking her to write you a love poem each week for two months. Should she refuse to make it up to you on your terms, then she isn't serious.

Best wishes.

PS: Should it become evident that she is not serious in any of these steps towards EARNING your forgivness ... then you need to re-define the relationship (friends, no contact, etc) and you still need to forgive her so that you don't poisen your personality with hate towards women.

Trust is a hard thing to earn and very easy to break. I believe in second chances. But it depends on a lot of variables. How much you loved her, have happy she makes you feel, and so on.

A couple of questions that will help you decide.

When you look into her eyes what is your opinion of her?

Is it awkward to be around her?

Do you see a future with her?

Now some good advise from me that i believe.

A relationship to me is a long-term commitment.
Never show anger, anger clouds your judgment.
Forgive, even if you decide not to take her back.
Revenge is never the answer.

I hope this helps cause I'm going to something like this right now. and I'm always willing to help.

No, you should move on. You cannot trust her because the next time she goes somewhere and a cute guy look at her, your history. I would move on because if she really loved you she would never have cheated on you in the first place. What she deserves is what she gave you; nothing.
