Where do I go and who should I ask, to get my idea manufactured. Is there a place in WA state, or Idaho that manufactures peoples ideas for them, so they can be sold on a large scale?

Depending what it is:

I can recommend a Full Service Jewelry Maunfacturer in Los Angeles, Calif.
They are called LORI MFG. (213) 892-0982
Ask for Vartan.

They are full manufacturing with multpile orders and fast turn-around time. Tell them Earl referred you.

Well for a start I would make sure there isnt any other similar items being sold.

Second take your item to a manufactor direct and get a cost of how much it would be to manufactor on a large scale.

Third check the market to see if items like the one you have created are in demand. This is done by asking people by shopping areas etc.

Fourth see if any shops will take the item either on a private stand or buy from you as sale items.

Fith see if any banks will fund you producing the item yourself this can be done by taking the information created by second, third and fourth points.

and many more points but i hope this gives you some points to move forward with.

p.s dont just flash your idea around if it is good it will be stolen if you dont have the appropriate information stating it is your idea or somthing that you can prove you have been working on for awhile.

Look in the yellow pages for jewelers and ask if they would be interested in your design. If none of them are interested, ask them if the could recommend anyone.
If you can, take the piece that you made with you and talk to them in person. They might be able to tell you if they like it, think it will sell, and what companies are interested in that kind of design.
Also try the companies that advertise on TV. I've heard some bad stories about them, so be cautious when dealing with them. Maybe consult a patent attorney in your area for additional advice.
