Do you have a tattoo? What is it?

Do you regret it or do you plan to get others? I don't actually have one myself, but am designing one for a friend and am curious.

One tattoo. two cherries with angel wings and a halo between my shoulders. The tat is the size of a fist. I love it. It was my way of clamming my sexual purity after the divorce from a cheating abusive husband.

In other words...my husband left me for a crack whore and I wanted my cherry back. Well I got it in full color.

I have one that I just got about two weeks ago..it is a claddagh ring...with a shamrock on top (a claddagh is a traditional irish ring that means friendship loyalty and love) the band of the ring is celtic and it is two hands holding a heart with a crown on top of the heart. I love it so much..in fact I go back to get it colored in this week. I had been wanting one for so long and I finally got the courage up to get one...and it wasn't even as bad as I thought it would be!!!
I do plan on getting more..and the reason I feel that I will never regret them? Because they are memories if nothing else...and they will always remind me of a specific time in my life, because I do believe tattoos should have a meaning behind them.

I don't regret it, but I did think long and hard before I got one that was visible for everyone to see. That's what I'd suggest as the base line. Think about what you want to get & where. Take time to make sure you won't change your mind by considering pros and cons.

I have a horse on my left bicep & I have a black rose on the back of my right hand. The horse is hidden by short sleeves & is about 2 years old, the rose is is about 22 years old, and I don't regret either. Actually thinking about my next choice in fact....but I'm not waiting as long between this time. :)

I have the norway flag on right upper arm, egyptian eagle on the left upper arm, a "empire cross" on my back, and a wicca pentegram just above my bellybutton. No regrets, just be careful not to get too many, or put them on your head or neck. Unless you are a tattoo artist, a music star. or just dont care be careful where you put them, its your body but others do the judging. I know a guy that has his whole head tattooed up, he now has a career in fastfood.

I have one on my ankle of tweety bird. That was a nickname a friend had for me because I'm always chirpy like a little bird. I don't regret this one because I hardly ever think about it being there, but if I had to do it all over again I don't think I would get one. I doubt I'll ever have another one.

my zodiac sign on my breast and i regret it cause i can feel people looking at it sometimes like when i am at work and i had an ex boyfriend make rude comments about it,

but i had got the tattoo along with some body pierces to produce a better image to myself about my body, i was uncomfortable with my body and when i added those things i felt special. later i removed the piercings but the tattoo is not that easy because i am brown skinned....hope that helps ;(

No, many people who have tattoos usualy had them put on when the are liquored out of their heads, and regret doing it afterwards. Once the tattoo is on, it cost much much more to remove the thing than having it put on.

My only tattoo is a tiny lotus flower around my belly button. It's colored in shades of pink, yellow, and white.
And that's the only one I want. I don't plan on getting any others at all.

Sankofa ( Adinkra symbol) on leg above my ankle. Dont regret it at all. Actually thinking about a second one....
