True!
Dan Carter is an unbelievably gifted player. He has amazing ball skills, a good defense and superb vision for the game.
Plus he has proved that he can still play well in big pressure games whereas some other "greats" have choked.

The way he played against the British Lions was fantastic. He completely dominated the opposition and they had no answer. I reckon he is much better than Jonny "I'm injured again" Wilkinson.

The only thing I believe he should work on a liitle is his goal kicking. Normally he kicks it over but sometimes he may seem a little too inconsistent in that department - although I suppose that proves he is in fact human!

I can also say that as a Springbok supporter, I am being completely objective and fair in saying that Carter is the best.
That being said, I think Schalk Burger is also one of the world's best players although it is difficult to compare players of different positions.

Cheers

True, he has developed his game exceptionally well in the last few years and is going from strength to strength. He is the best kicker in the world and he is even better at making things happen from the 10 spot- he can put those outside and inside away and he can make breaks himself too when required, he can finish showing great pace... without a doubt the best all-rounder

absolutely true, when he has a bad game he still plays better than any other 1st 5 in the world, he has a great tactical boot, can goal kick from anywhere in the opponents half, can create line breaks and tries from anywhere, is faster than people think, breaks tackles, can slot the drop goal if needed, and most importantly, is a beast on defense
