Make sure your foundation is the right shade. You have olive skin so you have a blue undertone(cool) with yellow(warm)-toned skin over it. I see this all the time and it can be confusing. If your foundation has a blue undertone(has pink tone) it may make you look grey or pale. Try one with a yellow (warm) undertone BUT make sure your other makeup (blush, lipstick etc.) has cool undertones.Warm, or golden toned makeup will make you look tired or sallow. Go for plums and soft pinks( not peach-too yellow). Your foundation should always match your skin, and your other makeup should match your undertone. Bronzer is very yellow. wear it like a suntan- where the sun would hit your face, not allover and not as a blush. Use something with cool undertones over it on your cheeks. With the proper colors for your skintone a tan, or even bronzer are not necessary. You don't need to "correct" your natural color! You just need to enhance it!

Being olive skinned can still mean a lot of variations. Go to your local Mac store with some time on your hands and they will try it out on you. Pick whichever one you like. If you want an idea before you go, find a celebrity with your complexion and search them on the net. Get an idea of what colors they use and then you'll also know what may work for you. Best way is just to try it out. Also, keep in mind your hair and eye color as those affect your ideal blush as well!

Bronze would look good, although I would recommend you go to your favorite makeup counter at the mall and let them try on the new colors in your skin. I believe Estee Lauder and Lancome are some of the best ones in terms of olive skin color.

When you have olive skin, you need to use a shade about three shades darker than your skin like a brownish color. I think olive skin is the prettiest of all!

My sister-in-law has beautiful olive skin and she wears a pink plum shade and at other times a peachy one... I always like the plum one on her best.

a darkish subtle pink (not bright), or bronze, or plum. there are a lot of different tones in "olive" colored skin, but since i don't know what you look like, its hard for me to say.

i have the same problem. I bought a cover girl tri-color blush, with three colors. I mix them to create one that works for me. try it, any three will make good color.
