I'm going to purchase a cellphone and I'm trying to decide on the wireless provider. Anyone I should avoid? Any suggestions? In particular, I'm looking for answers that pertain to service in the Oklahoma City and Norman areas. Thanks!

When I lived in Oklahoma City, I used T-mobile. They were great. They were my provider for 5 years. There plans are pretty cheap, they have a ton of locations, you get service almost anywhere, no roaming, no long distance charges...etc.

Dobson Communications' head quarters is in OK city. They also use the name brand Cellular one in some areas. Dobson is a GSM carrier (meaning lots of great gizmos and great signal) and Dobson has a state wie unlimited plan for like $50 and a national unlimited for like $100
