As far as a home run is concerned I don't know. There was a situation early this season where a pitcher tried to intentionally walk a batter and he got a base hit. At the moment I can't remember the teams involved.

I know that Ty Cobb got a couple of hits doing this, but they were singles. I can't imagine anyone having enough power to reach that far across the plate and drive a ball. The only chance would be for the pitcher to have horrible location on an attempted ball, and I've never heard of this happening.

Yeah. 1931. Babe Ruth went to a sick kid and promised him a home run. Lou Gerhig came up and told him that he would hit two. Babe hits his and Lou gets one in the seventh. Ninth inning, the score is tied so they intentionally walk him. 3-0 count, Gerhig gets mad and on the last pitch he leans over and hits the ball 372 feet for a home run to left center field at Polo Grounds.

Back in the old days my dad said that Joe DiMaggio used to jump out and hit pitches that were meant to be intetional balls. I dont know if he ever hit any home runs like that, but he mightve.
Miguel Cabrera also got an RBI by hitting an intentional ball this season.
