I want to get rid of my love handles & belly but I don't want to get too skinny. I like my curvy figure. Is it possible to tone your stomach and still have a womanly shape? What do you all do to tone up?

My sister is in exercise science, and she tells me to do cardio at least 30 min 3-4 times a week, and work up to 100 crunches 3-4 times a week. It's not a quick fix, but ultimately it pays off.

just doing crunches wont help. you can do crunches but accompany that with some type of aerobic routine to help burn the fat. if you dont have the self discipline to do it at home join a class. that way you feel more like you have to be there as opposed to doing it at home where its very easy to put things off until later. i joined a martial arts class when i was young and its a ton of fun. ive been in it for 15 years now and 2 kids later im still a size 2. just find what you like to do and keep doing it.

Swimming is a good sport that tones your body without making you too skinny. I believe that it has something to do with the cool water temperature or something. But it's always an option.

And be sure to drink lots of water!

focus on strength training and less on cardio.
Cardio = weight loss
strength training = definition
you'll want to do the cardio to lose the extra weight so the muscles under the fat can show through

Im the same way. just do push ups and drink plenty of water! i hope that helps!
