I guess they need the Iran weapons just as much as Israel needs American made weapons. I said at the beginning of this conflict that if the world doesn't approve of Hezbollah shooting rockets into Israel, perhaps we could loan them our jets to blow up civilians, like Israel does.....

You're wrong.
Hezbollah was supplied with weapons from Syria and from Iran.
What they did was interrupt a peace process that was leading to Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories and settlements and the eventual establishment of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and the Gaza strip.
The cross border raid and capture of Israeli soldiers was poorly thought out and poorly timed.
As a result, the Lebanese suffered tremendous casualties from the Israeli response (which is thought to have been excessive and disproportionate by the world community).
Israel could take southern Lebanon and hold it like they did for 18 years, and if the Hezbollah don't back off, they might just do it.
The Palestinians and the Hezbollah may have legitimate grievances with the Israelis, but diplomacy would be a more effective method to resolve those grievances.

You are wrong and sadly misguided. hezbollah has been firing Russian and Chinese made weapons that were purchased by Iran and then transferred to hezbollah through Syria. All you have to do is follow the money trail.
Why is it, that if you have a dead end job, live with your mom, and have no girlfriend BUT figured out a way to murder innocent civilians - that makes you an most intelligent man? Lebanon is almost entirely destroyed and the killed Lebanese civilians are more than the killed Israeli fighters, or civilians. So, a logical overall, would support that Hezbollah resulted very stupidly in a big loss for both Israelis and Lebanese. So Hezbollah and its Hassan are losers no matter what they do.

I donno, Hezbollah is a guerrilla. they did not win, though I favor them rather than Israelis. Well, Iranians had an 8 year war with Iraq and they were attacked. Iranians did not have a regular and powerful military and semi organized groups were fighting with Iraqis as guerrillas. Now, Iranians are passing the experience to Lebanese group. They are trained in Iran and till Hezbollah has not attacked innocents and killing innocent people like Sunni terrorists, it is legal and acceptable the fact that they are trained in Iran.

how do you define winning. They did not accomplish there goal. They did not cause great losses on their enemy. They attacked and got there *** kicked then the UN got a cease fire going.
I mean if a kid goes up and punches someone at school. then the kid they punched beats the crap out of them. Then a teacher comes and breaks it up. I would not say the kid that got the crap beaten out of him won.
Also Hezbollah got all the rockets they fired at Israel for other countries. That is why ports and out of Lebanon where Israel's first targets.
