The same way as the rest of us. Will power, mixed with exercise, less carbs, less fat. That said:
You might try drinking really good Tequilla, slowly, no lemon, no salt, warm. Do a shot in the course of 30 minutes. One drop at a time. Appreciate the aroma, the complex taste (I recommend El Cortozon, anjo). It will not make you loose weight, but you will gain an appreciation for what you are drinking, instead of swelling down cheap fatning beer. If you like beer, drink only really good beers (microbrews, porters, darks) and less of them.

If you burn more calories then you consume you will lose weight.Drinking lots of water helps with weight loss and is really good for your skin too.( and the constipation problem you mentioned!)
Try eating a bowl of cereal , Special K or something like that, not the sugary stuff, with some orange juice for breakfast.A green salad for lunch, and a sensible dinner.when snacking try to make healthy choices.Don't eat anything after 7 pm.
Walk when ever you can.Stairs in place of the elevator, etc.
You should talk to a doctor and see if there is a health issue causing the weight gain or if you are on any medication, it could be the cause of the weight.Even birth control can put the weight on.

Take it slow. Get up and start walking at least 30 minutes a day 3 or 4 times a week. Instead of choosing high fat snacks bring an orange or an apple with you to eat instead. I'm trying to lose weight too and I have cut out soda completely and I eat a lot more fruits and veggies than I used to. Beer and wine are just empty calories you could use for something much better for your body. It's not easy but if you take it slow and change things for the long term it'll work Good luck

A weight loss plan is the way to go but first, from what you described I urge you to have a through physical exam before you start exercising. I had a similar problem and with a blood test the doctors found out that my thryroid gland was not working properly ( some symptoms you may have: sudden unexplainable weight gain, constipation, "old" skin appereance, sensitivity to cold, tiredness). If you have an untreated thyroid problem, no matter how much you start exercising now, or how little you eat, you will NOT lose any weight. So, save yourself some grief and have it checked out. Also, if you had many problems with ovulation, make sure that you don't have something called "PCO" (Polycistic Ovarian Syndrom). Women with this condition tend to put on all the weight on their belly area only. Discuss with your doctor if you may have this. In this case, ask him to test your insuline levels in your blood ( NOT GLUCOSE !!!!). Women with PCO sometimes produce too much insuline and the doctors never find out because they only test you for glucose (which is ussually normal) and ignore the insuline level. If your insuline level is high, unless you take medication for it (glucophage), YOU WILL NOT LOSE WEIGHT.
Whethe ryou have any of these conditions or not, after your physical ask your doctor for a referral to a nutritionist to learn how to eat properly and the best way to start exercising is WALKING ( not jogging or running, just walking fast). Do it inside the mall to stay comfortable (but stay away from the food court!) If you can find a buddy that is trying to lose weight and pair up with her is the best support system. And drink at least one and a half litters of water per day ( not soda or juice, just water.) This should give you a great start. Good luck!

okay first you need to see your Dr. because he is the only one who should be giving you medical advice..second have you ever thought of having your colon cleansed? sounds sooo groosss i know but it is very good for you..you can get this done at a dr. or have them prescribe you pills or go to a GNC and tell them you want some pills for that reason. You take the pills like once or twice a month and that in itself will help your weight, you will feel a ton less lathargic, you skin will look nicer and the whites of your eyes will be whiter. When food passes through you your body sucks up the toxins and when you are not"pooping" them all out they get left in your body and do damage. Also slowly start walking everyday a little more every few days, and walk like you are late for an appointment and walking it self will help you lose weight very fast!!
email for more questions. Hope I could help!

I've lost weight by doing a lot of walking (with my dogs and about 40 mins. a day on the treadmill), a few other exercises and dieting.
Some things that make a big difference diet wise is if you don't drink any pop, don't eat things like chips, cut out white bread, white rice and things with sugar. Do drink a lot of water, eat lots of fruit and vegs, lean meats, fish.
It's important when you're dieting to treat yourself once in a while. Don't be too strict or you'll never make it. You have to change your lifestyle, keep only healthy foods in your kitchen - if the bad stuff's not there you can't eat it.
Good luck!

Constipation in your case, has to do with dehydration due to excessive alcohol drinking. Drink more water and eat fruits and vegetables daily. Consume less carbohydrates.
If you don't like to exercise, maybe, do more walking, like shopping, walk the dog...etc. Do something you would enjoy.
The most important step is to have a strong *will* and determination to start your diet.
Medication is no good for anyone. Losing weight is actually simple and easy. Consume lesser calorie-intake. More exercise can speed up the lose-weight goal.
Cheer yourself up. An unhappy person eats more., especially the one that doesn't have enough of the warmth of love in their hearts. Are you lacking love in your life?
Good luck, and I wish you success.

Go to LA Weight Loss. My friend lost 95 ponds there in 1 yr. They put you on a diet thats customized just for you. But the catch is you have to excercis at least 3-4 times a week. Its not very expensive. At the beginning of the plan you pay money and set a goal for yourself. If you lose your weight in so many months then you get half your money back

Beer is very fattening, even if it is light beer. When you consume alcohol your body has to burn off the alcohol before it will burn from your food intake or fat stores. Try to give up the beer if you can. Exercise is important even if you can do it like just 3 times a week. Try eating healthy meals, lots of fiber for your constipation. Whole grains are good, fruits and veggies. Drink lots of water. If you are drinking soda, stop or at least switch to diet soda. Stay away from fast foods and processed foods. You should start to see a weight drop. I don't know of any medication you can take but you should take a good multivitamin.

hello
This simple plan really works ,and your skin will look good too because it sure did work for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
Good luck
