Do you think you would stop using yahoo answers because of some of the rude answers you get?
Also do you agree with this: That the people who give stupid,mean,or unrelated answers to questions should be atomaticly baned from using this service?
I will not stop using this service, but I have read and seen some of the werdiest things people have said. it is so annoying! I will take all views, because if I say I don't want certain answers, some people will do it anyway.

No. I would not stop using it. If most of the answers certain people answer are rude and they are not using the service for which it is intended to be used for, by all means they should be kicked to the curb instead of taking up space.

My feeling is that if you want to participate in this you have to be prepared for mean, rude and sarcastic answers. I'm not saying they are right, but it's just a fact of being on this type of anonymous internet service. Some of the sarcastic answers can be kind of funny, but overall, the mean ones can really hurt.

i dont think these people should be banned. opinion are opinions and maybe just because you dont share it or understand where its coming from does not make it stupid or unrelated. i have read some strange things on here but if you are going to be a part of yahoo answers you must learn to accept different types of people, brush off the rude ones and open up your mind a bit.

I think sites such as this have the potential to promote understanding and they can provide a useful service. I'm sometimes shocked by the rudeness but when you read those comments you can see how ignorant the writers are. Our society needs to raise its standards. Backing away because we're sick of wading through garbage will just allow the garbage to flourish.

Well I don't ask questions anymore so I don't get rude answers but it is annoying to read some of the rude answers some other users get. I don't think banning them would help because they'd just go create another account.

That is the thing here, you take your chances and take what you get, whether it be good or bad. Personally I think some of it is funny. Especially if you are getting the same answers over and over, kind of breaks the monotony of it all. You got to just relax and go with it.

some of the answers may sound mean, but they are not really meant that way. but the people that are just being cruel need to be reported, even though i don't even think that that will stop them.
if you get mean answers, you just have to remember that it is not you who has a problem, it is the person that gave that answer.

Yahoo Answers is like a place of "freedom of speech"! ...
shouldn't take any answer too seriously anyway but sometimes when we get lucky, we got useful information and answers that we are looking for...

No and no. People need to stop being so damn sensitive. Half the people on here give bullshit answers anyway. Nobody takes this place seriously, which is why it's fun.

I think you're right. People ask questions to get real answers. If you don't have an answer then don't answer the question. Don't be rude!! Just skip the question then.
