I always hear about women who find these really wealthy men who shower them with cars, fancy dinners, big homes, jewelry -- and I wonder if this is truly for real? Has anyone ever dated a guy like this? Does this exist?
I'm cute - not a supermodel by any means - but I can get by - and I've never come across such men. I've got a great husband but we are not rich -not even close. I feel rich in the heart, in love, but I'm just curious as to what the gals will say...fill me in...

I had that at one time in my life, but what came along with that was also a bad temper, jealousy, and many other things i could deal without. I have a not so wealthy man now and I am so much happier. Monetary objects are not forever!! But love can be.

I think there are guys like that out there. I have had a couple experience with some but they was never was I wanted. I'm like you I love the guy I'm with. I'm not rich either. Not even close. But he is what I want. Not some rich guy who has a lot of money but not my heart.

I've dated 2 men who were multi-millionaires. The first was a lying cheat. The second was insecure and self-absorbed.
My current bf is very well off financially but isn't wealthy. He doesn't have any of the hang ups the others suffered from.

Well i live in florida and yes it does happen. i had a friend who anytime she got a new boyfriend they would propose within like two weeks. the women who get showered with lots of things materialistically are ones who look like or are models and take really good care of themselves and make the men they date look really good in public. they walk in a room and all eyes are on them. Men like knowing they have a girl that every guy wants/ that is why they shower presents because there is nothing they won't do to keep that girl.

You get it! Being rich isn't the same as being happy. When my husband and I were first married we had two air mattresses and some card tables for our furniture...and it's so funny, because whenever we talk about it, or think about those days - we're smiling!
You and your husband working together to carve out a life together will really help you to become closer to one another. I'd say that beats getting spoiled rotten any day.
Best wishes!

Never seen a man like that. I would be willing to bet the price is very high for the women of men like that!
I married for love, not money.

I would rather have my husbands lower middle class paying, love, than the rich people who live next door to me. They have so many problems and issues. Kind of makes me love my husband even more. Just be happy if you have soebody that loves you.

ok honestly im in college and since school its always been like- stinking rich guys like me a lot. and im not very rich.. but it never became a plus point for me.. i didnt date them only because they were rich.. in fact generally i fall for guys who are as well off as my family.. it never really mattered to me whether the guy is rich. but sometimes it became uncomfortable to be in really posh and wealthy environment.

I believe these men do exist but hang out in higher end places. Places I could never afford to go to.

I have never met a guy like that either. Nor do I personally know anyone who does. Maybe it's more for girls that act like hookers. If they give it up, they also know how to get what they want.
