Likely B. A. is essentially a worthless answer, Japan has a constitution that prevents it from building a large military, Germany is very pacifistic and socialist. C. The U.S.S.R. has broken up, and Russia has learned the fact that it simply cannot compete militarily with the U.S. so it has given up. D. The U.N. has very little power currently, it would not matter if the UN broke up, diplomacy would still continue, and nothing would be lost. Likely Answer: B. B makes sense as well, as many of the terrorists in the world are created because they are impoverished, and hate the US because we have so much wealth.

First off, I think the big issue is the thrid world countries. You see, because we are prosperous, these nations, and many others in general, hate us. They feel that we should share our wealth with them and that, is socialism.

Cant count out the Soviet Union. The bear was declawed, but claws can grow back. Dont blink or China will move into your six when you least expect it.

As far as the UN, its a worhtless organization that only serves to promote the differnces betwen the us and the third world. I think they should be made move, to say, France to Germany, and the US stop making billon dollar payments to them.

None of their support has been for the US. None of their so called resolutions held water. Sadam laughed at all those resolutions and still sold oil for weapons to the French and others.

This is a fluid world we live in and we cannot afford to make the mistakes we did by hiding our heads in the sand prior to WWll and hope things go away.

welll, um, obviously no one can KNOW they are correct about something like this that hasn't happened yet. I can make some educated guesses though. I think the world's problems will continue to be focused in the middle east. demand for oil is rising as china and india want more of it, and supply is not really increasing, putting more pressure on this region, and giving more funding to terrorists and oppressive backwards governments in this area. Also, China is a rising superpower, which is a problem since they are an oppressive and authoritarian government themselves.

also, geopolitical patterns are changing as many of the developed nations become more influenced by immigrants from underdeveloped nations. For instance france could become a predominantly muslim country eventually, which could be a problem since they have veto power in the UN.
