Try this:
(1) Do some type of exercise every day, even if it's only a 15-minute walk. Any exercise that builds or tones muscles, like ab exercises or weight training, should be done every other day.
(2) Cut out soft drinks and fruit juice and drink only water, unsweetened coffee or tea, and skim milk.
(3) Instead of snacking on chips and pretzels, snack on your favorite kind of nuts. ANY nuts are good, but almonds are best.
(4) Cut way down on fast food and junk food. Instead, go for whole grain products, lowfat dairy products, lean meats, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
(5) Eat six small meals a day instead of three big meals per day.
(6) Eat breakfast within 90 minutes of getting out of bed -- you're 450% more likely to be overweight if you don't
(7) Take a tablespoon of olive oil three times a day, preferably before meals -- olive oil is high in monounsaturated fat, which your body needs, and it is also a natural appetite suppressant
(8) Eat more protein, and make sure you drink more water when you do -- protein takes more energy to digest, so if you expend more energy digesting your food you'll lose weight
(9) Increase your fiber intake. Fiber fills you up, and it helps your body get rid of the "bad" fat -- aim for at least 25 grams of fiber per day

Good luck!

If you are really serious about losing weight, you may want to try joining a gym. They have nutrition consultants, classes, trainers, it really will help. But you have to be comitted, and want to actually DO it.

Drink a large glass of water just before you eat, it will leave you less hungry, causing you to eat less... try replacing a meal or two with "Healthy Choice", or weight watcher dinner's.... they have less calories and fat....
