It seems like the punishments at school are not appropriate.
examples:
Jimmy misbehaves....he can't go to PE...so now he misses a class....you would never tell him he has to miss math class!!
Jimmy misbehaves on the bus...he gets kicked off the bus...now he can't come to school at all!!!!!
Jimmy really misbehaves and gets suspended/expelled...now he can't come to school at all for a week-whenever....he gets really behind and he will more than likely have to take this grade over again...he becomes discouraged and thinks he will never be able to do well
Jimmy misbehaves...you send him to the hall.....now he misses the rest of the lesson

Isn't the point of school to provide each child with an education? to get ALL children to learn?
How can they if they aren't allowed in the classroom??
comments.....please give best one wins 10 pts

I think it depends on the "crime". If the misbehaving is disrupting the class, sure, send him home. He knows what he's doing. What other options could there possibly be? Your question is either completely naive or just not very well thought out. Suppose you're at a concert and there's someone there with a boombox playing his own $hit so loud no one car hear the band? And so the bouncers throw his sorry a $ $ out onto the street. Are you now going to ask "but how can he hear the concert when he's been kicked outside? Wasn't the whole purpose of him buying a ticket so he could hear the concert?"
Get real.
I was suspended for smoking. I was not on the campus but very close, it was 15 minutes before home room. Does that sound right to you? Of course, I was a freshman in high school and I was too stupid to see that I was getting railroaded. And of course my parents were gutless wonders, they just rolled over on me.

yes i think that it should be taken off....it is taking away from the childs learning..and wen he comes back and hes behind then jimmy is the one that must come back and try and figure out everything himself because the teachers arent gunna make the lkeson over just for one student!! thats not right.....usually u can get warnings or something.....whereever this punishment is its not right ......u should report it or something....i dont feel right with the punishemnt of kids like this.....y would he miss a whole class!!!!!!! thats outragoues ....give him a warning and tell him y hes getting the warming and then if he does it again make him sit for 5-10 min and so on .....wow im just blown away

send innocent Jimmy to an alternative school or juvi.hall.The parents are ultimately responsible for Jimmy's actions.

If they are misbehaving in the classroom, why should they deserve the education?

jimmy's parents should teach him how to behave at school, or home school him...there are alternative schools for kids who cannot learn in a regular class or behave also

I agree very much. THey should teach him how to behave, they should get a hardcore drill sargent to teach him some manners(some one who is in the army of a police)

kids are brats these days, they all need a good spanking and have the fear of God put back in them so they can learn how to behave! UGH I do so hate that kind of behaviour.
