cable for deep well pumps 1000v?

I used a House Wire that a Grey Color UV and Underground Rated. I used a 12 ga. 12-3 it have three wires. Most people may say you can use two wire as the pump 220-230 Volts. But, if you wire the three wires properly this will also give you 110-120 Volts should you want to wire in a Light Bulb etc. in your well house. It worth the extra money to me over the years and trouble free.
I not sure what wire you mean. A 1000v will work if it handle the Amps this what actually cause the heat that Fry a wire. I would not use a "Stranded Wire", be sure it Solid useless it like an 4-8 Ga. like you see coming into your house at the Meter, very expensive per foot and an over-kill for a well pump.
