What is a good eyebrow pencil to use?

You should use a eyebrow powder – pencils look gross and ghetto (not to mention that they can totally smear) Don’t follow that other person’s idea by using a lip pencil –they are trying to make you look scary! I’ve gone through the same thing as you have. First you want to go to either Benefit or Bare Escentuals. If you have a Sephora nearby they have the same brands there. Ask for Brow Zing (Benefit) or 3-piece brow essentials kit (Bare Escentuals) and ASK them how to put it on, they should show you how to put it on, how to fill in the sparse areas. It is an investment (approx $28 to $30) but honestly – you want to look gorgeous on your first day of school – and not like bozo the clown with the drawn in eyebrows. Believe me, if you can notice it on other people when THEY use a pencil – they can notice it on you. Use the powder. It will definitely help.

Try an eyebrow pencil in a color that is close to the shade of your natural brows. Pencil it in and smudge it. If you have bangs, comb them down to try and cover the brows a little bit. Don't worry, before you know it they will be back. I just go to the salon and get them waxed once a month. It only takes a few minutes and it is only like $6.00. They do a great job. I used to over-tweeze all the time.

A Kohl eyeliner pencil to match your brow color is the best to use. When applying the eyeliner don't put it on heavy. Lightly touch up your brows. If you draw it on it will be obvious...so use light quick strokes. If you get a Kohl pencil with a sponge tip at the other end of the pencil you can use that sponge to blend even better.
I wouldn't sharpen the pencil before you use it....it will look too fake and the lines will come out darker.
Good Luck!

Don't pluck them for the next month!!! Go to a makeup store and buy a brow filler pencil a little lighter than your natural color. You may even want to go to a department store make up counter and have one of the women do it for you so you can see the best technique.

Good luck.

Get an eyebrow pencil to shade in any sparse spots. Make sure it matches your eyebrow color and isn't too dark, otherwise they'll look really fake and will stand out.

DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT use an eyebrow pencil. it will look ridiculous. lightly dust a little brown powder (eg a fairly light or medium brown eyeshadow) over the curve of your eyebrows to make them look thicker without looking obvious.

Take eye shadow that is close to your brow color and with a fine tip brush paint them back on. It will help fill them in.

Do not use eye brow pencils if you are not very used to using them... because you will end up looking like they were drawn on...which will probably only look worse.
