What holidays do you get off from work? I work in the USA and we get the following paid holidays:
January: New Year's Day & Martin Luther King
February: President's Day
May: Memorial Day
July: Independence Day
September: Labor Day
October: Columbus Day
November: 2 days off for Thanksgiving
December: 2 days off for Christmas
Do you get a similar 11 paid holidays? Less? More?

I get more. I work for the state gov't.
January New years and MKL day
Feburary Presidents day
April Good Friday
May Election day and Memorial Day
July 4th, (this yr we got two days off ..what a treat)
Sept. Labor day
Oct. Columbus day
Nov. Election day, veteran's day, Thanksgiving and black friday (I love nov.'s)
December Christmas
That's it.

I don't get Columbus day off. I do get 1/2 day for Good Friday. We often get more during the year as the boss decides, randomly. It's a small office.
