im at work and we have a bunch of computers that work faster than this one how can i make it faster as fas as the internet also?
(its annoying!) please help!

its my work computer so i dont have pics music files or anything..im not they only who uses this computer i use almost a different one everyday ...

A lot of it depends on how much memory you have and so forth. You may be able to add more memory if you are not already maxed out, but you need a computer tech for that. I would not recommend trying it yourself. Also your modem may not be the highest you can get either. Is it 56k or what? Those are two things you can look into. Also, you can run a program to look for and get rid of any spyware and adware on your computer. These are programs you pick up when on the internet that slow down your computer.

*just delete all the unwanted files
*defragment yo computer
*and run some antimalware programs
*u cud add a bit of ram to yo computer
*and make sure yo hard drive is not full
*nd make sure u dont have any viruses nd worms in ya computr
*nd try deletin some unwanted "registry"files but carefull coz if u delete a wrong file u may have to kiss yo "OS" gud bye so if u wanna delete the registry files get assistance of some proffesional guy.

delete unused programs
burn pictures to a disk then delete them off the computer (it's a good idea to burn 2 copies)
defragment it
run anti-virus and anti-spyware. if you don't have an anti-spyware program, you can download one here: www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
you can also have more memory added to your computer if it's still too slow after doing all that.

You can clean your computer out by, deleting any file that you don't need or want anymore. Or put a lot of stuff on disk, instead of storing it on the computer.

Clean up the hard drive and any bots. Download a couple of programs that will make it run faster by cleaning your system.

tools---internet options---click delete cookies, delete files, clear history these are all temperory files deleting these files your internet will works better compared to previous.
