You have probably lost it.

Assuming the car is insured, you will have to notify the insurer who will advise. Your have a duty to do this as soon as possible. They may not pay you if they think you have handed over the car negligently, but they might know what you should do.

If the car is registered in this country you will at some point have to notify the DVLA that it is no longer in your possession.

If the car is valuable enough you could consult a solicitor. You might also ask a private detective (I know nothing about how they work!), either to deliver a letter establishing that you want the car back or to recover it.

Whatever you do, you will have to trade off the cost of what you do to recover the car against what it is worth.

You could techincally report it as stolen, depending on the exact circumstances surrounding him taking it. But consider in the real world what the police would or could do about it. It does'nt seem proportionate for the police to spend the time/money to investigate it when there are pervs and mureders on the loose!

Phone the police and say that he stole it without your knowing and you're insurance will pay out if it does't turn up in about three months. If you say you gave him a shot of it ur fucked.

Not a lot you can do. Next time employ a local man he may steal your car but at least you'll know where he lives.

only thing you can do is to report it stolen. The car is still titled in your name, even if you gave him permission he went beyond what you wanted him to. Chances are the car is gone though.
