I mean like a thong or a string bikini compare to something fuller.
For guys: if you wear baggys normally, do youwear something that shows more skin?

Yes, because my neighbors and friends aren't on vacation with me. I have gone topless at the beach on vacation, but I would never do that at home.

I wear a full bikini bottom (no top) at home. On vacation Mum and Dad would probably insist I wear a top. Although I did start going topless on vacation, when I lost my top in the surf

no, actually the smaller the suit size the less flattering. if it's too snug, it always manages to hug all the wrong spots. i usually wear the same suit wherever i am. and it's one size bigger than my clothing size, since in my experience they actually run a bit small/tight.
i wear one piece for PE class, tankini and bikini for tanning, parties, etc.
