f you run it it will just go ahead and install itself, but if you downlad it and save it, you haveit then for future use if you should need to reinstall for any reason. this gives you the option to scan it for viruses as well.

there no virus on MSN messager, if you afarid that you might catch virus, you can download a virus protection or protector. the best one is called "Symatec Norton Anti-Virus"

MSM Messenger already comes preinstalled with Windows, so if you have windows 2000 or XP, you should already have it on your computer. No need to download it.

go to www.msn.com and follow the links to "download messenger" save & install it, then re-start your PC, it should run in the systray. riht click and sleect "log in" and it will open and let you enter your details
