I'm not sure what your asking. But I'll take a stab. Yes Americans care about Canadians. I think most americans care about everyone.

As a Canadian, I think Americans as individual human beings generally care about Canadians as individual human beings. I think the American government as an institution wants to wipe us off the map altogether...but good luck Dubya, I doubt you know where we are!

Nope, we could care less. I'm not so sure that it really occurs to us that they even exist. Their like little leprechauns that come down from the frozen north lands with pockets full of funny looking money that they want to spend at Target on lots of cheap clothes. Clothes that they will undoubtedly pile on in an attempt to get threw customs.
But, I like Canadians more than most Americans

Yes. We live north of Canada (Detroit) and there are Canadians everywhere. Nice folks.
My wife is 1/4 French Canadian.

as a canadian myself.. i don't think americans really care about the canadians...
canadians are kind of like americans... they speak english...drive on the same side of the road..about the same school system..only difference is that they are from another country.

I wouldn't say I don't care but I do forget about Canada being there. I rarely hear much about it. I wonder why. Is life there like in America?
