Misunderstood. Scousers have a special form of humour which puts people off. It's definitely on the dark side and can be hurtful if taken the wrong way. Luv 'em. Mi fadder wuz a scouser.

I've never met a scouser, but have seen them on t.v.
They seem harmless enough, I do think that they talk too fast though, but then, I'm from Gloucestershire where everything is done nice and slowly.

Friendly and open people-quite similar to the Irish in their attitude to having fun I guess.
Mind you, this doesn't stop me from taking the piss out of them. Half of them are teenage baby dispensers and the other half are quietly engaged in the competitive collection of ASBOs.
As bad as Scousers are, they're nowhere near as bad as people from Burnley.

They are really friendly, straight-talking people who go out of their way to help people. They get ridiculed so much, it really isn't fair - granted that accent is'nt the most PLEASANT in the world, but I'm always struck by the difference of the Liverpudlian attitudes to visitors as opposed to Londoners, it really is amazing. - up North everyone knows their neighbours, down in London if you try greet people you are often greeted with a horrified cold stare.

Liverpool is a big place. It depends on where they come from therefore who they have been brought up with. Some parts are rough but come on, its the same in every city.

Just ordinary folks from the north (well the south from my perspective)
Occassionally they seem to have a chip on their shoulders. Though they have good reason for that

I much prefer the City to Manchester, Always have a great time in the City and have always found the girls a great shag and very good company.
