I wouldn't go because I don't think it would make it any easier to keep my promise to be faithful to my wife. I also don't think it would be respectful to my wife to be gawking at other women. I can't think of a single benefit from going to strip clubs, I didn't think they were that good of an idea later in my single years (although yes I went to a few when I was in my early 20s).

I haven't gone to a strip club since I got married, but my wife has gone with her friend who comes home from France once a year. I don't mind it because she doesn't drink, she doesn't touch the strippers, and when she comes home she wants ME to put on a strip show for her! If I were invited to a strip club, I would only go if it was a bachelor party for one of my close friends, and I'd probably be the designated driver. And yes, my wife would know. I'm a bit leery because many of the strip clubs around here are fronts for prostitution (you walk in and start commenting about specific girls you think are attractive and the next thing you know one of the bouncers is telling you that he can hook you up if you're feeling generous), so I stay away from them.

I know I'm not a man but my husband has gone to the strip club with his friends and I don't mind at all. He doesn't go all the time and he even wants me to go with him. I think if he went all the time or became obsessed with them then I'd have a problem but we have a very healthy relationship and there has never been any incidence of cheating so I think it's fine, other than it can be a bit expensive but for a special occasion its fine.

Why would you Choose to do something that would potentially weaken the bond between you and your spouse?
If both of you are curious, then go as a couple. Recognize that this is a dangerous situation, so establish rules ahead of time. Go for one night only, decide when you arrive and leave. This should be a one-time thing for information only.

I go to one every now and then. The girls there always tell me I am welcome to come back anytime because I treat them like people and dont just set there and stare like some guys do. I like to go sometimes just for a change, and I have actually had a stripper come up to me and ask why I was telling jokes with the bouncer instead of watching them. It seems to me to be a harmless way to spend a few hours for a change of pace and to have fun. And if I went my fiance would either be along with me or she would know I was going. Big deal.

Strip clubs are for bachelor parties. Any poor sap that goes to one regularly has issues. No , you would never take your spouse. I would not go to a male strip club with her.

I use to go but started feeling sorry for the girls. Their life stories are sad and unwed mothers do what they can to raise their kids.
Single girls are drawn in to dance because of the money, attention and allure of the night life. - Many, have a real hatred for men, which I found ironic. These girls lure men with their appearance and take their money to get even with Daddy who didn't love them or Uncle Pedophile who raped them years ago.

My wife used to let me go with her brother, he was single. But we didn't go to pick up dates, I just went to look, and have some fun and drinks, and he would meet up with friends there.
Now I won't go to waste the money, but it makes you feel like you're "ballin'" and just trying to have fun. Sorry the bad parts of the industry crop up to cause problems.
But if an industry lasts persistantly, it should be taxed properly.
