There are way too many people that could be referred to as Legend in their own particular genre of music to call any one person as THE Legend of Music. He would certainly be one of the legends of music. Others I would call legends of music would be Chuck Berry, Frank Sinatra, Della Reese, Elvis Presley, and many more from the past.

I think he is, but I also agree that Freddie Mercury is close but I just consider him rock royalty. And Elvis and Sinatra are other favorites of mine but above all JOHNNY CASH!!!
